Build for Gildas 2008 - Project Complete!
The house, built by professionals from the Greater Barrie Home Builders Association and the Barrie Construction Association was completed in 55 hours beginning June 20th.
"The house is everything we thought it would be... and more!" exclaimed Pat Gilbert, Gilda's Club Barrie President. "The upgrades and quality must be seen to be believed - I think an open house is a wonderful idea!"
The fully warrantied house, which is completely landscaped including an interlocking stone driveway; is also painted, decorated, and includes stainless steel kitchen appliances, a washer, dryer, 2 gas fireplaces, and even a gorgeous BBQ, lawnmower and trimmer.
All money raised from the sale of the house will be donated to Gilda's Club Barrie for its Captial Campaign to raise $2.5 million to open a Gilda's Club facility in Barrie beside the future Cancer Care facility and Rotary House on RVH grounds. Gilda's Club will serve all of Simcoe County, Muskoka - Parry Sound and area, Grey-Bruce and Dufferin Counties.
