DEIRDRE LENNON - GUILDCREST HOMES
Deirdre has been a valued volunteer within our Association for at least (but not exclusively) the past 4 years. A Member of our Board of Directors for the past 3 years, Deirdre is our incoming President for the 2008-2009 year. Deirdre is a person who looks ahead to the future of her own company, and our Association. She was instrumental in moving our Association to a membership fee-base of financial stability and away from fundraising events for fiscal support of the GBHBA. Deirdre has also chaired our Industry (Community) Luncheon for the past 2 years and has done an amazing job! Deirdre has a unique way of "getting to the important stuff" and is a professional, dependable and indispensable Member of our Team.
DOROTHY STEWART - ENBRIDGE GAS DISTRIBUTION
How many hours are in a day? Dorothy makes use of every one of them. She is an energetic, enthusiastic and capable volunteer who serves on our Board of Directors, Golf Committee, Provincial Conference Committee, and Christmas Gala Committee. She manages to accomplish each of these activities and still has fun - and so do those who work with her! When you give a job to Dorothy - it gets done! Her span of knowledge and contacts is unbelievable and she is supported by her employer and her immediate supervisor Wendy Cain. Dorothy is an indispensable part of our Team. She doesn't hesitate to state a different point of view if a group is being overlooked or treated unfairly. She is a "behind-the-scene" helper going above and beyond in all she does.
